You are directly sitting on top of a Seacliff looking out at the horizon with sea waves gushing towards you at a distance. The elevation level is 80 feet from sea to the top of the cliff. Whether sitting at the bar drinking a cocktail or other fine liquor and beverages, dining in our lounge area or dinning area you will feel the same effect, Breath Taking. Our main cuisine is seafood, however; a must on our menu is local food, vegan food as well as taiwanese food. I assure you, when you depart you will be feeling much better than when you arrived.
History Portland Cliff Hanger was first established on July 1, 2013 by Errol Hanna (Chairman/Owner), Mark Campbell (Brother of owner), Brett Hanna (CEO/Managing Director and Owner) who came up with the idea to establish this restaurant. This restaurant was designed as part of the Sea Cliff Development Project. The name resonates with the restaurant being built by the Sea Cliff as well as the perception of the Restaurant hanging from the cliff. Errol Hanna thought of the Tropic Bird logo as our key emblem after months of dreaming and pondering of what to use. The Tropic Bird first came about by sightings Errol Hanna had with two of them, a male and a female. After careful observation he discovered that they were nesting. Few weeks went by then they returned and he noticed that 4 eggs had hatched and that is how the Tropic Bird was established as Cliff Hangers emblem. |
