Growing up as a child, Ryan Peterkin wanted to become a soldier to protect those close to him and serve his country but that was not to be. During his high school years it became clear to him the direction he wanted to take as it regards to a profession.
Seeing his father’s many innovations in his field of work caught my attention. It was interesting to see the various things he would create with chocolate, fruits, sugar and ice the possibilities were endless in each case.
After completing his secondary education he enrolled at the Runaway Bay HEART Training Institution where he completed a level one and two certificate in commercial food preparation. At that point he had no doubt as to what he wanted to do career-wise. Ryan continues striving to achieve his goal of becoming the greatest pastry chef ever known despite what life has occasionally thrown his way. "My mother would always say anything in life that you want to become, do your best and you will be the best."
Peterkin maintains the highest standards - challenging himself daily and developing and testing various ideas & watching them become reality.
