Executive Chef Nicholas Beckford was certified by the Culinary Institute of America after attending the Runaway Bay HEART Hotel and Training Institute, where he won an award for being the best food preparation trainee and received a full scholarship to pursue the commis chef program.

In 2007 Chef Beckford was a member of the Jamaica World Skills Culinary Team to Sasktooon,Saskatchewan Canada. He has worked at Sandals Ochi Rios , Breezes Runaway Bay, Hilton Kingston and the prestigious  Cafe Aubergine as a junior sous chef and is currently the Personal Executive Chef to a Deputy  Ambassador to Jamaica.
